Oregon Scientific's TimeLight is an atomic clock with a twist: It shows you its weather forecast in living color. For instance, if there's a sunny day coming up, it'll show you a corresponding icon in bright red. If it'll be rainy, purple's the color. Place its wireless sensor outside, and it'll show you the current temperature inside and out.

Its crescendo alarm wakes you up gradually, and it projects its data onto your ceiling, automatically illuminating when the lights go out. If you haven't had a projection alarm clock showing the outside temp before, you might like to try it — somehow you feel more cozy, sung in your bed when you know it's 10 below zero out there. This one's pretty elaborate with a $100 price to match.
